2 lines and another day at the office

Started the morning off well by quilting two more horizontal rows on my throw while Bill played some more Neverwinter Nights.

Went in with Bill to the office again so he could finish off some work on the site. While I was there I commandeered a leftover lino block and did a lino cut of a logo I’m working on. Looking good. Bill then helped me to do a few prints. Gonna scan it in now and see what it looks like PhotoShopped a little.

Stopped off at Publix on the way home where I managed to slam my finger in the truck door. Ouch! Had to walk around the supermarket with my hand stuck into a cup of ice. Aargh, I am feeling particularly sore and uncomfortable at the moment. I was practically a walking bug bite already, didn’t need to attack my finger too. My legs are horrible and covered in bites, I just seem to react terribly badly to them. I am rather swollen and some of the bites have instigated huge bruises. Bill’s a little worried as to what my parents will say when I get home I think. But he’s not been beating me up, honest.

Very worried about getting back to Devon from Gatwick on Wednesday. Took a look at the coach timetable and it looks horrific. I land at 11.15 and allowing for getting through customs and immigration it looks like the next coach I can take doesn’t arrive until 13.15. That then takes me into London where I have to wait until 16.00 for the Plymouth departure. Aaaargh. I am going to be so dead. 🙁

    My Dear Miss Kay,
I note with some disgust that the young man in the picture is wearing sandals on his feet. Surely he must know that one wears socks with this variety of footwear. Tut tut.
