Fame!

Just had a big shock, my Dad sent me this out of the blue. We made it into the Tavistock Times this week!!! (Particularly love the advert beneath us – genius)

It’s a shame you weren’t both all done up in Infesty/Slimelighty neon yarn extensions, then the story next to the advert would fit better too.

    belated (very) congratulations

obviously much smirking ensued when a certain prawn sent me this link, but on a more serious note – congratulations to you both.

    Wow!

    Whoohoo!
    You’re famous!
Not only famous, but famous with a lovely pink border which matches your dress! Impressive!
I’m glad the locals will all get to see how beautiful you looked 😉
I’d better go and buy a copy, then I can get the rest of the details on the ad.

    Heh, hey Dru!!

Great to hear from you, hope life is treating you well? Thanks for the congrats and I’m glad the Tavistock Times was able to bring a smile to your face! 😉

Hmm…I don’t think Bill would ever go for that look, at least not unless he gets inspired by an orange mullet. (eek – gonna get slapped for that!)

I actually used to work for that library and would create some of the kid’s activities. One summer this involved me having to dress up as a teddy bear and swelter in the sun while kids hugged me and asked silly questions.

Heh, somehow I don’t suppose that the Tavy Times has too much other news to report. 😀

I am however particularly touched by being in colour and by the matching pink text they used. That’s just special.

    Hello Sprouts!!

Glad to see you raced out and got yourself a copy! You’d better look after it and treasure it maid.

It’s very disturbing to think I may well have ended up staring out of the pages on your Dad’s cluttered table down at the cottages! Frightening thought! Just imagine the chaos, saffron buns and pasties I have been exposed to?! *gulps*
