Oops. Should have posted this a long time ago, but here, for Nicky, is a picture of the gorgeous Hello Kitty corset she made for me:

Whenever I’ve worn it I’ve had lots of fabulous compliments. Thank you Miss Sprout.

*nods* much props to the Sprout!

Yeah, there’s not really been much call to wear it in Atlanta either. 🙁 But!…I’m working on rectifying that.

Read your LJ, hope you are okay? Sending extra good vibes your way and hoping there’s nothing major wrong.

I’m cool thanks, although I have to say that the fact that my whole company is having a breast cancer awareness day is really not helping! Heheh :o) I’m sure it’s all good; us country lasses are a tougher and healthier than most ;o)

Have a big Atlanta corset party, yay! Besides, there needs to be some kind of partying done seeing as there is no hockey at the moment… I was looking forward to a whole season of supporting Atlanta too… *boo* *pouts* :o(

    Re: *nods*

Yeah, still feeling under the weather but I dragged myself out of bed and away from the dog snuggles today.

Glad you enjoyed the film. Think I’ll be getting it on DVD eventually. That way I’ll be able to watch it with proper popcorn too, instead of the horrid salty buttery stuff they sell in cinemas here. No sign of any Butterkist! Booo hooo!!

People bring their dogs to work here, I just got accosted by a black lab who rifled me and stole a Quincey biscuit! Awwww!

Awww, I saw a really happy bouncy springer spangle today who was wagging his tail franticly and holding his lead in his mouth, made me think of Sally. I want a big garden and a doggle now! BTW Um won’t Quincy starve now?

As for Hero it’s very cheap on region 3 dvd, oh look out House of daggers and Cashern too, btw too, can you vote?

    can I vote?

    Like Hell I can!

I can’t vote in the UK and I can’t vote in the States and I’m not at all happy about it. I believe in voting I do.

Well, I lie. I can vote in the UK. I just have to register as a postal voter wherever I was last registered on the electoral role. However, the ballot gets sent out before the election with barely enough days for it to make it to the States let alone for me to return it in time. My other option is to register as an overseas voter and nominate someone to cast my ballot for me. Fine. Except that this has to be cast at the last place I was a registered voter and as this would be Didsbury, I can’t really see Mum and Dad making the journey for me! So, in effect I am disenfranchised.

Only citizens can vote in the States and I don’t even have status as a resident yet. It’ll be a long way off before I’m even entitled to think about becoming a citizen, but the way I feel right now I’m not into that idea, except if I don’t I will remain to have absolutely no rights in this country and have no guarantee that my presence in the States would be stable. Pah.

So, no say in democracy for me.

    Hooray for Kitties and corsets!
    Cheers for that babe 😉

    Re: can I vote?

    you can have my vote.
who would you like me to tick/cross?

as long is it isn’t Lab/Con/LibDem/Green/UKIP/Indep! Or any politicians in fact.
Maybe a nice piece of fruit…

    Back, no Front?

    Dear Pinky,

I have been studying this lovely kitty corset most carefully, . What I can’t understand is that when looking through the lacing (rear of the corset, right hand picture) the corset appears to have no front! Can you explain this?

Got it! Maybe the corset has a white lining..if this is true please ignore me. Thinking about it you always did ignore me anyway.

And by the way Hubby’s pumpkin was best, don’t get me wrong, yours was good too.

PS I’ll won’t be able to communicate with you for a while, I’m polishing my shoes and taking up flying.

    Re: Back, no Front?

Actually, there is a good reason for the lack of a back. The original intention was to draw in a mannequin who would be modelling the corset. I just haven’t got around to that yet! Ooops
