Sunday at Camp Leslie | Dog fun

Of course, the trip wasn’t just pure torture for Genghis. We also made sure that the dogs had plenty of fun and took them across the paddock for a good run around and swim.

HMS Quincy

Quince loves swimming and spent the entire time in the water. He likes to chase splashes so we’d throw in pebbles or bits of mud and as soon as they hit the water he would throw himself in the direction of the ripples and plummet through the water. He’s like a little submarine with his periscope up. His tail always pokes straight up like it should be proudly flying a flag.

Genghis gets his paws wet

Genghis got wet but really isn’t such a water dog. He was still intent on escaping and checked the perimeter with great interest. The field was completely fenced and quite secure though so it was good to be able to let him run loose for a while. He was a lot more attentive to Bill too, and actually came trotting back when called. Amazing.

Genghis deems himself too clean after his water experience and decides to roll in horse shit, great!

Genghis should be flying the skull and crossbones! Is that a parrot on his shoulder?
