Ripping everything out.

Tearing out the existing nasty floor..

…and discovering all sorts of old crap beneath it.

    No, it’s a disaster. the decking we’re tearing up was covering up ancient linouleum. And had close to 10000 nails in it. We put down new decking, then underlayment and will have cool tile over the top of that. Then the cabinets we got at the last sale at IKEA. Fixed lots of problems though. Round 2 is tomorrow. 😉

    ahhh the memories…. my kitchen floor looked exactly the same when i tore it all out.
