…for the beautiful flowers and “it’s a boy!” balloon that arrived a few days ago. They are gorgeous and I’ve been meaning to post a picture of them for you so you can see how pretty they are too.
And while you are distracted by a nice picture of flowers I will spoil it all by mentioning that Sam’s poop has now transitioned into a new phase. We’ve had the tarry black meconium poop, the curdy wet poop, the chartreuse green poop and now we’re onto the solid vibrant yellow poop. Lovely.
Currently daddy is giving Sam a bath as he’s just thrown up all over himself, and his clean clothes, and his fresh blankets. Maybe I should describe that to you too? Or, maybe not. 😉
We had another pretty good night last night. I think I love Womb Bear! (Bill bought Sam a teddybear that sits in his cot and plays comforting womb noises) I think the combination of daddy’s expert swaddling and Womb Bear is really settling Sam down. We feed him, change his nappy and then he goes right back to sleep at night. Touch wood that that’ll continue. I’ve been feeding him every two to three hours so don’t feel too bad that we all fell asleep after I fed him at five thirty last night and didn’t wake up again until eleven. Mummy and Daddy feel a lot better now that we’ve had more than two hours sleep at one stretch.
