Take the baby to the park.
Baby wanders off.
Baby tries to eat wood chip flooring.

Baby tries to eat unidentified litter.

Happy baby on the swings.

Cheerios and avocado and yogurt and other mushed food smeared down front and around mouth.
Nap time.

Baby refuses to nap.

Pages ripped from baby books, and chewed.
Toys flung out of reach and all over house.
Covers torn off adult books.
Clear up mess.
Lost baby.
Baby found stuck in narrow gap between filing cabinets and wall.
A cheque for $560 of freelance money drenched in water, ripped and chewed.

Baby found in out of bounds bedroom.
Veneer stripped from furniture and found in baby’s mouth.
Lotions and potions pulled from the shelf and scattered, liberally sprinkled with talcum powder.
Full glass of water knocked from bedside table resulting in a soaking wet, screaming baby, a change of clothes and water all over the bedroom floor.
Put baby in play pen.

Toys thrown out of play pen.

Baby let loose on the house.
Hallway cupboard prised open and shoes pulled out and dragged through the house.
Mobile phone chewed.
Mobile numbers dialled.
Tupperware container of Cheerios opened and ransacked.
Trail created from clean laundry pulled from the basket.
Clean laundry now hairy.
Clumps of dog hair found in baby’s hands.
Dogs desperate to be put on other side of baby gate.
Tea time.
Baby restrained in high chair.
Food aimed at mouth.
Food meets floor.
Dogs become friends with baby again.
Screaming baby.
Baby let loose on the house.
Baby finds hole in the wall.
Hole in wall enlarged to accompanying sound of happy baby chuckles.
Chunks of plaster board removed from baby’s mouth,
Baby removed to front room.
Screaming baby.
Daddy arrives home. Hoorah!
Hand baby over to daddy.
Collapse on sofa…nope, make tea for mummy and daddy.
Collapse on sofa…nope, baby bathtime.
Collapse on sofa…nope, baby milky milky.
Collapse on sofa…nope, comfort screaming baby.
Collapse on sofa…nope, baby bedtime story.
Miss TV program I wanted to watch.
Collapse on sofa…nope, put washing going.
