Infuriating Sam.

Oh wonderful.

I sent Sam to his room earlier because he deliberately peed in his pants in front of me while I was feeding Bea in the front room. He just stood over a book that was on the floor, spread his legs and let it all trickle out onto the open page. I’m sure he knew I couldn’t get up and stop him because I was weighed down with a hungry Beatrice.

On Monday he pooped in his pants at school (I’m a little miffed about that as they apparently just threw his pants away after declaring them “trashed”! uh..no!..wash!) and he did that again yesterday afternoon too while at home.

Now I’ve just discovered he’s used the heating vent in his floor boards as a potty. I was wondering what he was up to when he said “wipes!” and ran to get some toilet paper just now. I followed him back to his room and watched in horror as he proceeded to mop up some liquid from around the grate. How exactly am I supposed to clean that little mess up?! Aaargh!

I think so. Though he doesn’t really demand attention when he does it, he’s just doing it as a matter of course and not making a deal out of it, or seemingly getting a rise when I tell him off. In the past he’s said “uh oh!” or asked for wipes when he’s had an accident, right now he just carries on playing happily.

    He’s still adorable though.
