Despite the furious packing going on here Bill was nice enough to give me the afternoon off and send me to the Hash Holiday Pub Crawl in East Atlanta Village yesterday. Bea had been crying a lot of the morning so I took pity on Bill and decided she should follow in big brother Sam’s footsteps and go drunken pubbing at an early age too.
With Bea snuggled up all cosy and warm in her little Polar Bear suit and tucked into her stroller we walked into the village to meet up with the Hash. She and I had a grand afternoon going from bar to bar with a very dodgy Santa and a bunch of festive retrobates.
During circle I got away with doing a doing a Down Down for not wearing appropriate Holiday attire as I was wearing a very hungry little snowy polar bear. Then I got to nominate a substitute to take another Down Down for me as my hands were full. Who better to replace Tasty Pie than another Pie in the form of Skin Flute?
We made it through the Flat Iron (mystery beer), Midway (PBR), Car Park behind the Gravity (Bass), Grant Central (another mystery pitcher) and Holy Taco (declined another awful American light beer) before we were turned away from the Gravity Pub and decided it was time to beat the setting sun and amble home before it got dark anyway.
Look at Bea eyeing my beer at the Midway!
Needed a good nap when I got home, then Bill roused me and it was back to furious packing again. We move in three days! Eeek!
